Where the tide forgets its boundary, the Saltworn Shores begins. Once a bustling coastal network of merchant docks, quiet markets, and spired weather stations, the region now lies in gentle ruin. Sea winds curl through waterlogged arches; barnacles overrun old docks. The locals speak of time stretching strangely near the waterline and occasionally pick up driftwood with messages in dead languages.

✧ Known Site: The Drowned Courtyard

A stone plaza typically submerged, and resurfaced by extreme low tides. Statues from an unknown tradition lines the perimeter, mostly cracked and faded in time. Objects left here have a habit of returning altered, both physically and in one’s memory. The courtyard is often used as a site of ritual, although no consensus exists on what those rituals achieve.
